The new figs look goooood! Too bad they aren't repainting any of the 2015/2016 figures, but it's nice to see Spade is coming back.

Impact looks great.
Spade isn't even repainted from the version available at target Australia recently. Huh.
Kinda surprised the guy with the arm blades and Rains old body haven't returned. Good figures.

DUDE! - I'm so pumped. I've got to have all 8! Maybe a couple of the Shrapnel figures. Love the look of Smoke & Impact! Also, notice that desert camo Spade hanging tough there?

So good!
I never thought I'd say it, but with the new sculpts and characters coming, the Corps is putting GI Joe to shame on every front. That JoeCon set has bummed me out. This fixed it for me.
Long Live Lanard!

Can't wait for more picture I have so many questions. Like Does Titans mask come off? The art shows him without it. What weapons do the new guys get? Etc.

It looks like Shrapnel has a "real" name underneath his codename, which implies he's technically a named character rather than a dedicated army builder (though he has the perfect look for a grunt). I am also curious about what kinds of weapons the new guys will have--whether they'll have new weapons, re-use some of the current weapons, or maybe even re-issue some older ones.

Oh my. There is so much win in that pic. Loving the new sculpts and characters with 2 more coming as well. Wow, Lanard is really stepping up in this scale. They weren't kidding when they said something to the effect of "Look out Gi Joe."
The new figures look bigger than the others. I know El Jefe and Titan are supposed to be bigger guys but they all look big. With the amount of armour they have, doesn't look like any ab crunch articulation, but hopefully it is waist articulation that has the peg compatible with the other figures.
Don't know if any one else has seen the new Adventure Wheels figures (including the old Duck Dynasty ones), but they unscrew in the back and have a peg they can work with old T-crotch figures. Hoping the compatibility with the new figs are good.

So we might see some head swapping. Though some like trickshot might be ball joint. I could definately see the changing it up. Happy to see they did add back some diversity. Titan looks cool. I hope his 'mask' can be removed but ill understand with all we are getting ('new tooling' on multiple bodies and heads.) if it cant. Im so excited there are so many I want not including the duplicate ones i want to customize. Tell me you dont see a modern skelitor vibe off impact. A cable vibe off el hefe....

I'm happy to see all of the new figures. I'm fairly curious about Titan's mask as well. He seems to be the only figure whose physical model doesn't match the card art which bites as his card art shows a very useful rather "universal" head (with regard to appearances). As has been alluded to i'm curious as to whether the rather "blocky" torso's were made so because they can be unscrewed in the back and the new ball jointed legs/waist can be swapped onto the old t crotch figures.
Ultimately all that matters is we have confirmation of ball jointed hips with hinge/swivel elbows and ball jointed shoulders all on one figure body. If the prices stay at traditional Lanard levels i'll be satisfied and buy them when i see them. I don't collect 1/18th anymore but these i'll buy.

- I'm not so much a fan of the ball joint hips. I've got a set of theCORPS! super soldiers that feature the ball joint hip. Within a week of outdoor play with my 4yr old counterpart the thin plastic of the leg socked snapped on both my Slash & Crane figures. I can already see the plastic fatigue building in my Kenji. lol
For real, the old school T is where it is at.

Ive wondered how much it would cost to cast the tcrotch in the puma/snakebite figures in metal.

The same happened to my kids Dynamite figure... and I also see the stress on his Crane figure. Roughneck seems to be a bit more resilient... Could be that the newer Supers have better production/sculpting/engineering? As for the new figures, I think they look great! I really need to see some close up pics though. Impact is definitely the winner of the lot design-wise I'll wager that the unseen Wildside and Havoc are going to be new females!
