- I'm not so much a fan of the ball joint hips. I've got a set of theCORPS! super soldiers that feature the ball joint hip. Within a week of outdoor play with my 4yr old counterpart the thin plastic of the leg socked snapped on both my Slash & Crane figures. I can already see the plastic fatigue building in my Kenji. lol For real, the old school T is where it is at. The same happened to my kids Dynamite figure... and I also see the stress on his Crane figure. Roughneck seems to be a bit more resilient... Could be that the newer Supers have better production/sculpting/engineering? As for the new figures, I think they look great! I really need to see some close up pics though. Impact is definitely the winner of the lot design-wise I'll wager that the unseen Wildside and Havoc are going to be new females! If they are I hope there are some new parts that would be cool.

I'm a bit concerned about the durability of the new ball-joint hips, but if Puma and Snake Bite are any indication, they should hold up OK (though I have heard stories of even HACKS figures' hips breaking occasionally, so who knows?). I actually worry a bit more about the removal of rivets on the joints, since cast joints are typically more prone to sticking and breaking versus riveted joints.
Oh, and it looks like we aren't getting fully-articulated versions of Recoil, Dozer, Reaper, or Buckshot this year.

^ Considering Lanards track record i think the 2 unknown figures will have bodies that utilize the body Smoke has or the previously mentioned 2015 bodies (ninja guy with blades or Rains old body).
Of course i hope we get a Bolder recolor with an army builder head (or something that can pass for one).

Meh - Not a fan of Bolder being used again, though he was the best of the 2015 figs, IMO.
Sharpnel and Trickshot seem to use the same body, as do Titan and El Jefe. So the two new figs will probably be riffs on Impact and Smoke's bodies, I'd wager. I am a fan of Mirage, but wasn't big on Rain, despite the buck being the same back then. I prefer the new Rain kitbash actually, especially as used on the Tom Hiddleston character in the Kong line.

I'm pretty sure we were told that new females were coming... hence my assumption.

I'm pretty sure we were told that new females were coming... hence my assumption. I hope you're right! The military figure world is such a sausagefest. Did Lanard happen to narrow down when we'll be seeing these? Obviously most of them are "done" from a design standpoint; I'm really looking forward to having these in hand.

That was / is my line of thinking as well . It really will be great if the new figures have lower bodies that can be easily adapted for use with the older figures. That would give new life to a lot of figures that people would otherwise have passed over due to restricted leg articulation. Re: Bolder..his torso is perfect for reuse. I don't need the entire figure released again. Ah. Well...poop I didn't know that lol. Cool. Now i'm curious as to what they will look like and how they'll be built . I have so many questions. Will the new figures be priced similarly to the old? Will distribution reach Canada? Will the lower bodies be able to be used with the older figures? Just how big are these figures? I'm really looking forward to their release. I'm already looking the figures over for custom potential . Man...Titan needs to come without a mask. The more i look at the picture the more i feel as though Smoke might have been a missed opportunity for Lanard if his had sculpt truly is half covered by a scarf. How often can you reuse THAT part? Now i'm leaning more towards Titan and Smoke having removable had accessories.

I'm pretty sure we were told that new females were coming... hence my assumption. I could dig that, if they use new sculpts as well. I've been examining that picture, and while the new guys do look - thicker - than the older figures, they do look to be the same height, for the most part. I agree that something about them makes them look much bigger - I think it's the blockier torso and larger hips to facilitate the new articulation. They are within "Bolder" size range, i think, which makes sense, since Blake was obviously responsible for Bolder and these guys, at least direction-wise.

Oh my. There is so much win in that pic. Loving the new sculpts and characters with 2 more coming as well. Wow, Lanard is really stepping up in this scale. They weren't kidding when they said something to the effect of "Look out Gi Joe." The new figures look bigger than the others. I know El Jefe and Titan are supposed to be bigger guys but they all look big. With the amount of armour they have, doesn't look like any ab crunch articulation, but hopefully it is waist articulation that has the peg compatible with the other figures. Don't know if any one else has seen the new Adventure Wheels figures (including the old Duck Dynasty ones), but they unscrew in the back and have a peg they can work with old T-crotch figures. Hoping the compatibility with the new figs are good. Yeah as a customizer im super curious abour that. It does look like most the heads are jointed the same as the old figures. So we might see some head swapping. Though some like trickshot might be ball joint. I could definately see the changing it up. Happy to see they did add back some diversity. Titan looks cool. I hope his 'mask' can be removed but ill understand with all we are getting ('new tooling' on multiple bodies and heads.) if it cant. Im so excited there are so many I want not including the duplicate ones i want to customize. Tell me you dont see a modern skelitor vibe off impact. A cable vibe off el hefe.... It'll be interesting to see what the figures really look like next to the other ones. The picture leaves more questions than answers which from a PR standpoint is great because there will more buzz about their product. You can't tell if the heads are ball-jointed or if the lowers will accommodate the older figures. I hope it continues to unscrew in the back for easier customization. It's so crazy that Lanard seems to be changing the game in this scale. Regardless of the answers to these questions, the main thing is will the Lanard price be the same. Really surprised that the Kong licensed stuff remains fairly well priced. Here's hoping we all can buy a crap ton of these new characters.

I also hope they retain their customization ability, part of the fun of the Corps line is being able to mix n match to create your own characters!

Really excited to see what all is coming. Glad we know the new figs are coming in June. I have been waiting since November '16 and feared it wouldn't be until Fall '17 that we'd see the new offerings. Can't wait for new info to come our way and again, thanks!

Couldn't have put it better myself.
The 2017 figures will be the same scale as previously released offerings, just with more modern articulation as it's been Lanard's goal to make the Best products and to grow the Corps! Brand.
And this is only the beginning, our repository for the classic corps will continue to be updated. So fans and collectors can see each figure with gear to assist everyone.
Speaking of, we need to add Kong: Skull Island a category to our forum.
