Thanks! I'm playing around with the color to paint him. He's currently blonde. I know Blake isn't, but I've thought about cutting the nose down and making a new character. That armor is so cool. Place a helmet on him and he's a perfect Star Wars or Gears of War character.

Here is a little something I just started on. I saw the MTF Valkyries and was inspired by the t-shirt torso female sculpt. I picked up a variant Puma and got my trusty dremel out and began forming and shaping a t-shirt. Gone are the shoulder pads, pouches/holster and the backpack. Here is my WIP. I'll likely be sculpting some new hair as well. I'll post a finished product once done.

Hope it turns oyt well.

Thanks, sage. I plan on sculpting wrinkles on the "shirt." I'll likely dremel down her bust because I have a satchel accessory for her and it is harder for the strap to lay flatter with the bigger bust. I have a whole team she is a part of. Hopefully I can finish them up soon.

Well, the fam and I took a road trip this weekend and we are currently stuck in standstill traffic in the mountains on our way home. Figured I'd post a progress pic since I had nothing better to do (the wife is on Facebook and the kiddos are asleep). I reworked the hair on the Puma head and gave the shirt some wrinkles. I'll likely do several of these and play around with both short and long hair. This figure isn't done yet since I'll add just a smidge more hair to her and then paint her up. Pardon the crappy steering wheel pic.

But as someone who sculpts now and then on my customs its great to see wips from a fellow sculpt-customizer.

Thanks, sage! I've finally started dabbling into sculpting and it has really opened up another world for me. As I (hopefully) get better at it, I plan on utilizing it to gain better results and diversity on customs. I have a lot of ideas so far. We will see if anything comes to fruition.

Saw this stuff called blue stuff. Put it in hot water and its reuseable mold maker so you could make copies of heads you make great way to make a army builder.

I've never heard of that. I'll look into it. If you end up using it, do a review and let us know how it does.

Also, I'm currently looking to doing 4" scale super soldiers. I'm currently doing Oculus and will try my hand at Roughneck and one of the ninjas. I'll post pics when I can.

Here is the WIP of Oculus. I took a Ranger Rick head and took the beret off. I sculpted the forehead, hair and the eye piece which will continue to be painted up. The lip scowl was dremeled out and I'll try to sculpt some teeth in there too. I added the original source toy and will continue to mod this head to look more accurate. I want to add more hair and need to make the eye piece more accurate. I'll kitbash a body together, paint it up and post him when he's done.

Rick Ranger's expression in the upper right picture is perfect. Also reminds me of that scene from Hannibal...but I won't go into that.
