Articulated Dozer custom. Still not finished, I have to add the yellow parts.(in these images the yellow is photoshopped) Just a modified Dozer head on repainted Rucker body. For the head I cut Ruckers head off his neck at a certain point and then did the same to Dozer. I then glued Dozer to the Rucker neck/ball joint

Very nice. I bought the three pack just for Dozer and was pretty sad he was articulated. Loved the Solid Snake style body.

Hi All First forum entry for me :-) Just started collecting The Corps! as I was playing as a child (mid-90s) with GI Joes. I am very happy with the articulation on the new figures such as Impact, Shrapnel, Puma etc. I also like the T-Crotch articulated figures such as Rucker, Plague, Rain etc. As everyone else I guess, I wasn't happy to find out that some figures we're nearly unplayable due to very limited articulation. You know which characters I mean: Reaper, Dozer, Recoil and Buckshot. After seeing what you guys already have done to these figures to make them more usable, I also gave it a try. I didn't touch Reaper as it would involve actual modding, but the other three I was able to just reassemble with other figures' parts to make them more usable. Dozer Head: Dozer Torso: Bolder Arms + Legs: Rucker Buckshot Head: Buckshot Body: Rain Recoil Head: Recoil Torso: Trickshot Upperarms + Legs: Shrapnel Lowerarms: Trickshot All of this does not involve any destructive modding, just swapping out parts. I don't know yet if I try to tackle Reaper, as I am not a fan (yet?) of cutting and glueing, and also I don't want to do any paintworks (which would improve greatly the above kitbashes). Best regards, zyko

Nice work on the Kit bashes! The Buckshot/Rain body really works well. Personally, I think Dozer's head is too cartoony for use with other bodies and he is probably my least favourite figure of all. I haven't done anything with Reaper either for the same reasons as you, but there are some cool customs out there.

DozerView AttachmentHead: Dozer Torso: Bolder Arms + Legs: Rucker All of this does not involve any destructive modding, just swapping out parts.... Best regards, zyko THAT is AMAZING!! That Dozer looks like an awesome approximation of Solid Snake. With those colors, it makes me think of the Original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. With a repaint of some greys and grey-blues it'll be a practically perfect rendition of Solid Snake from the PS1 version of Metal Gear Solid. Which is exactly what I was aiming to do. You said it required no "destructive" modding. Just swapping. Can you please elaborate? I've never modded before. What are the steps? I was thinking of putting Dozer's head on Bolder's torso with Impact's legs. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi aaron Glad to hear you like it :-) It's really easy to do: Prereq.: Get a Dozer, Bolder and a Rucker and a small cross-screwdriver 1. Throw the three figures into a hot water bath for about 5 minutes. This makes the plastic flexible and loosens the glue. 2. Take Dozer and literally just rip his head off! It takes a bit of force, be careful to not damage his bandana in the process 3. Take Rucker and Bolder an unsrew the little screw in the hole on their backs. 4. after removing the screw you should be able to take the torso apart. Maybe you need to wiggle the arms/head a bit to make the torso fall apart. 5. reassemble to your liking :-) This works for most of the figures, e.g. for Recoil (same procedure as Dozer). Have fun! zyko

I forgot something: I didn‘t have any luck so far combining a torso which originally has T-crotch legs attached with a crotch like Impact‘s. Which would be awesome as one could upgrade the T-crotch figures with better articulation! If you figure out a way to do that please let us know :-)
