The Corps! Series 1 (International Security Force / Blue-Carded Series)
Series 1 was released under three different names - The Corps!, Adventure Man, and Gung Ho! The Corps! is, of course, the title that won out over the other two. Figures were sold on individual blue cards with card art specific to each character, and some vertical-carded 2-packs and 3-packs were made available as well. In addition, a mail-away set of 16 figures was made available by JC Penny stores. All series 1 figures were re-released on yellow cards as well.
The line also offered three larger vehicles including the patrol boat, the tank, and the jeep. Frequently, the vehicles were not carried by retailers even when the figures were. The relative scarcity of these three vehicles led many to believe that they were new molds when the vehicles were later repainted and re-released.
