I think army toys are making a big comeback, they’re just trying to do the best product for the best price and see how far they can take it while keeping those two things in mind.
Seeing Lanard get the Rampage and Kong Skull Island licenses and be smart enough to make them compatible with their Corps line was brilliant.
I think that doing stuff like that will make more and more people buy Corps stuff after the Rampage and Kong toys leave the aisle. Having a full army for your monsters to fight for a super low price, who doesn’t love that?
I know the True Heroes section is just huge at every Toys R Us I go to, and they keep making more stuff, bigger and better, so I think that more people every day are having that become their go-to section for whatever store they enter.
If they just keep at it, it’ll eventually just grow to the size it needs to be to be at that level mentioned in the original post, short of some kind of giant misstep. I hope if they do go for a show or a comic they keep things fairly simple and really fill up the stories with the toys you see in the aisles, that was always my favourite as opposed to buying some “Jungle Strike” Batman and never actually seeing him wear that in anything other than the toy.

Wait what's this about a tv show? Just a rumour of the possible avenues Lanard are exploring... Very, very late (just joined sorry), but LANARD must do a cartoon... and they have to get the guys who animated this trailer in the classic GI JOE style (over the top of course): www.youtube.com/watch?v=J35XEGEhsJM

I think that the new Fortnite figures will invigorate interest in 3.75 inch and similar figures.

I think that the new Fortnite figures will invigorate interest in 3.75 inch and similar figures. I hope so... so sick of the 6" and "off scale" figures and vehicles.
