Hi,
With the supply being thin here in the Netherlands, I usually only get some vintage figures in the form of (small) 2nd hand collections. Often, some of these have broken hands/thumbs.
For several characters I have 2 of the same version figures, where one has the right hand broken and the other the left. GI Joe figures are pretty easy to disassemble, as they are held together by screws, but Corps figures seem for the most part to be fixed with special nails (pop nails or small rivets?).
What way, if any, is the best to disassemble Corps figures for swapping out body parts (maybe even making custom figures from the many leftovers), and while I'm at it also for tightening limbs?
Thanks, Patrick

Thanks, Patrick You can take the whole figure apart and swap f The whole arm so you dont have to worry about elbow rivits

EDIT: If we're talking about O-ring style Corps figures' bodies, the bodies should just be held together by screws like Joes are. Maybe the screws on the ones you have are stripped?
In regards to elbows, I actually just bought a tool off of Amazon which lets you pop elbow rivets (and presumably also shoulder rivets). I've only tried it on one figure so far (a Joe figure), but it works well enough. I'm not sure if it's available in the Netherlands, but here's the listing for the one I bought: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079KMDDGN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1What I would like to do, or for someone to do, is to get together a library of unbroken arms from every figure design, and cast reproductions of them using flexier material which can be swapped out for damaged or broken original forearms. I'm not a caster, so I doubt I'll be able to do this myself, but it's an idea. The rivet tool will let me play around with that idea a bit.
