saw these posted on Facebook   "Yo, I heard you liked the limited-articulation figures!" In all fairness, though, the sets are pretty sweet; lots of nice accessories and battlefield swag included. (I don't know how the limited-articulation figures are supposed to hold the blasters, but I guess you can foist them off to another full-articulation figure.) |

Well, Wal*Mart may be lackin', but my local Reny's just got stocked up on all kinds of new Lanard toys! Five different Huntsman dart shooters, plus The Corps! Super Soldiers in their new packaging (complete with mislabeling Slash as Krane), two Tactical Offense sets (the Drone, plus a mini-Jeep/Curse watchtower combo). A bizarre version of the the Flying Fortress (Curse colors/insignia, but with the older twin gun up top instead of the lights/sound canon, Bolder & Corps ATV instead of Plague & mini-drone). Also a 10 figure boxed set that has a few variant weapons & the Corps ATV, plus both motorcycles from the 3-packs. Only figures it doesn't have are Rucker, Condor, Recoil, Dozer and Buckshot.
Looks like I'll be going shopping soon...
EDIT: I should mention that in addition to Slash being labeled as Krane, I also noticed Krane was given a real name, along with all the rest. I don't remember them now, but I do know that Dynamite's name was unlike Rucker's, even though according to the website, they are brothers.

Grabbed all the Huntsman foam dart shooters. I see a lot of stuff I'd like in these pictures, but haven't seen them around. OH, FINALLY got The Beast and Rainfire by ordering them for pick up at my local Wal*Mart; Soon as they came in I noticed an endcap display of them...

Maybe im missing and end cap but i swear it was like almost half a pallet left then all gone the next day. I wonder if someone locally bought them to resell online figuring they could jack the price up and sooner or later someone would buy it at any price once they became hard to find. I really hope someone just bought the rest and gave it to a toy charity. So a bunch of less fortunate children get a big gift under the tree I wouldnt mind if the avengers ended up fighting around the plan and lanard was just henchmen/folder again like the old days if that brought joy to those children! |
