I'm guessing you had to pay a bit of a premium to get them from Amazon, but they look like fun. That T-rex is huge! If you ever get the movie Kong, you gotta show us how he compares to the T-rex and the Cyber Kong.

I've got all the Kong sets, but I haven't been able to cough up the $150 it would take to get those two Beast Strike sets yet. They are on my Amazon wish list though, it's only a matter of time. Those accessory sprues you show were both in the smaller Battle Zone stations (Command & Warehouse), but in black.

r41n - Glad to point this out! And nice video. I like the comparisons, etc. Those creatures are the selling point for me - Cyber Kong and that T-Rex look dope. In recently acquired news, here's my haul from SD Comic Fest this weekend (so far). Note the 4 classic Lanard figures - I found some rollerblading punks, and had to have 'em. Buck each, and no other accessories, but pretty clean and tight. Fun stuff!

The barbarian is from a different line, called Beast Raider, but very similar sculpting going on. Big fan of those older Chap Mei lines, from when they were cheap. They seem now to be distributed solely by TRU under the True Heroes/Legends and Animal Planet lines, which is a shame. Used to be you could find their strange and awesome stuff at Big Lots and CVS for much cheaper than TRU will ever sell anything, and much better lines. |

You'll have to bite the bullet and buy a Kong figure for him as I don't see anyone else doing so and then getting rid of the one human figure. If they offered it via eBay or whatever, likely it would cost you more than just getting the set yourself. |
