I don't actually consider myself a proper "collector", though I do keep collecting toys that appeal to me. It's been lifelong, since before He-Man. There was never a time for me that I stopped or chose to get rid my stuff. I would probably still have most of everything I ever owned if not for my wicked stepmother.
My main passion has been Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since first sight. The roughly 5-inch scale with stunted proportions, and the imaginative sculpts of the original Playmates action figures are my idea of the best ever. I'm always on the lookout for more figures and accessories that can fit with that style.
So far Lanard hasn't exactly narrowed in on my particular focus. I've never been especially into G.I. Joe and the like, or 3.75" figures in general. However, they do produce very affordable high quality toys, with just enough artistic stylization in their sculpts to win me over.
