Saw these guys on Amazon and was thinking of picking up the linked female soldier for my son as she looks pretty close (minus most of the armor) to Rion Forge from Halo and he loves the toys and the Forge centric book series. However, I've never heard of these guys and what little reviews there are aren't giving me too clear a picture. Joytoy Cav Captain link |

The one thing is how durable are they for kids. |

The one thing is how durable are they for kids. That's the big question. The Halo line by Jazwares is pretty solid (the UNSC side anyway, the Jackels are horrible around the neckline) but all the ballpoints make them easy to disassemble ... which my son loves and makes me cringe. |

I got the Joytoy HQ meeting room. Works well with the Corps. Its a good scale and the seats work with alot of different Corps figures (there is some man spreading). (The screens are from a different 1/12 set): <img src=" ![]( "\"source:") " alt="" st  |

JOYTOY - The title alone is misconception, as these aren't toys in any traditional sense. Make no mistake these are adult collectibles with very small parts. and fragile, Not meant for young children. My teenage son purchased a few of the mech base sets and pieces broke during assembly. in concept these are nice, but far from being a everyday toybox type experience. Be warned, if you buy the various playsets be extremely careful as you assemble them, and forget about taking apart to rearrange them, they will break. The figures are alright, but a few have very small parts, and my son had a few snap even after warming them to loosen the joints. so be aware of the negatives.
