The red copter makes for a nice Marauder vehicle... It could, yes. Or you could use one of these, which appears to be part of a new dino set. Included figure varies in style slightly. I think I like Shades better.   By the way, the eyes and mouth on these light up when you move the arm. I'll need to get a video on a couple of these. Here's a close-up of the figures and dino babies from that larger set. Figures are only 5 POA, but not bad overall. Apparently there's multiple species of dino babies, which is a cool touch.  A military set I picked up a couple days ago. The set originally included tan versions of the vehicles, with a different figure; this appears to be an assortment refresh/update. The "tank" is a knockoff of a Joe vehicle. The jeep has sound effects. I think it's inspired by a Chap Mei design, though I can't say for sure. I don't know if the figure in the set varies, like the dino set's figure; I'm holding onto this one, but keeping my eyes peeled for variants (as well as the original tan versions).  Also, sage, I was thinking of starting a KC thread on Hisstank; may I use a few of your photos there as well? |

I picked up the military figure set while on vacation in FL last week. They had the 5-pack of figures with weapon accessories for only $2.50. In true Chap Mei fashion, the body sculpts look great, but the head sculpts are a little weak. I picked it up for fodder.

Oh, and here's pics of the two new sets of figures:   They're starting to put a bit of basic camo on the figures now, though they're still definitely candidates for repaints. The guy using Smash's head still has his mustache sculpted, but there's no paint app on it.  Oh, and here's the older set I have.  The set I am looking for is NOT any of these three, and is from the same "wave" as the one directly above. Like I said, a couple of the figures are in brown plastic, and I think there's a drone included. Also, as mentioned before, if somebody sees the "tank"/jeep vehicle set in the original tan version, let me know; I'm interested. |

This is the set I bought. Ah, I thought a couple of them were brown, but I must be misremembering. That must be the one. If you see another of the same, could you let me know? They're just recolors of the ones I have, but the more, the merrier! |

Saw some more refresh product the last week or so, including multiple new non-military sets. Construction, logging, fire & rescue, and shark researchers. Plus a new version of the dino-hunter set with a green variant of the serpent-necked dino. Will post pics later; too lazy right now. |

Orange version of the dino hunter jeep:  Dino hunter troop builder pack refresh:  Helicopter updated with armored car. I don't think the front compartment of the armored car is functional like its Soldier Force counterpart, though. Sorry for the glare...  New camo on the tank, AND it now includes a mini-copter:  This shark set is legitimately pretty cool. The anglerfish logo on the boat cracks me up. The figures in this one are actually very nicely painted. The shark jaw is spring-loaded; when I push it shut, it springs back open, so I think perhaps there's a button or something that closes it (which would then spring back open once the button is released). I doubt you could wire something like that backwards.  And a few other non-military goodies. Funny how Chap Mei just released a True Heroes fire truck at Toys 'R Us...theirs is nicer, but this is cheaper. It looks like Fireman's hands swivel.  Looks like a couple of the Dino Hunters applied for a less hazardous job. I think all 3 vehicles have usable passenger compartments. Again, sorry for the glare, but I think all that's being obscured are some play boulders.   |

If I recall correctly, the shark in that set has a trigger on one of its fins I think.
