I expected the cost to go up because of the liscensing. I didn't expect the Kong figure price to be so high. Hopefully it will be worth it but that will be easier to judge when it's in stores.

I wonder if they have the rights to use these new heads later.

Looking over it im surprised they were able to rework existing vehicles and body molds. Though i love the idea of making figures for movies. You can tell if they are going to keep doing this they likely will need to focus on war movies. Or syfy

I was in. a Walmart today that was resetting the Action Figure aisle. In the Corps section were two empty scanner pegs marked Kong Battle Packs. Whatever they are the price was around $10. I didn't have time to look closer at any other possible peg or shelf labels. I just thought I'd pass along what I saw.

I've only seen the Creature Contact sets and Kong so far. However, the prices are much lower than the MSRPs listed in the linked article. The Creature Contact sets are only about $10. Kong is about $24. Pretty reasonable, actually!

These toys are staring to turn up at retail? Yeah, but only in limited quantities so far. My Walmart only had 1 each of the 3 Creature Contact sets, and 2 Kongs; they didn't have any of the Storm Strike vehicles at all yet. I don't think anyone on Hisstank has seen the Storm Strike vehicles yet either. Also, at least for the States, the toys are all marked as Walmart exclusive. I imagine they'll be exclusive to whatever chain sells Corps in any given region.

Got a response from one of our local stores here that stock The Corps regarding the Kong merch... Looks like I have a long wait "Hi Andrew, Please see below response from our Buyer. These playsets will be part of the range but will only be in stock at PNP in the 2nd half of the year. This is due to factory production and shipping times to South Africa."

My brother called me on Saturday to report that the sets had been spotted in the wild, so I will begin hunting down. Glad to hear the MSRPs are lower than originally reported, that will make buying them much easier!

I've been to a couple of Walmarts and I've seen peg space designated for them but they haven't been stocked yet. Kinda fun being on the hunt. Unlike Joes, I feel like I'll actually spot them in the wild.

Walmart in Simpsonville, SC had them out and ready for sale.
Kong was $24.86 (two of him). The big vehicle set (boat and helo) were $14.92 (one each). The small vehicle sets (outpost, boat, and Jeep) were $9.84 (one of each).
Did not pick any up this morning but am really leaning towards the outpost and maybe the large assault boat.
