My local Walmart has yet to restock this line. All they have are a couple of the boats and helicopters. Has anyone else noticed this? I bought out what they had at mine (one of each set) There may have been one each of the smaller sets left. I keep checking back though and they haven't restocked. No idea why.

Since the movie comes out in a couple of weeks I would expect Walmart to restock by now or very soon. It won't surprise me if my local store has little or nothing in stock in March.

My local Walmart had one each of the Creature Contact sets this afternoon. I picked up the one with the winged monster since I still needed it. Lack of Kong product shouldn't surprise me there since they barely stock The Corps line anymore.

Discovered in a chest purchased on auction from the estate of Carl Denham. (Note the name "Denholm" in the photograph.) No known expedition can be found on record, nor can any landmass named "Skull Island" be found on any current map. The original photo was recently confiscated by government representatives claiming national security concerns under the guise of something called the Monarch Agency, but I was able to scan it before it was taken. I'm sharing it here, despite my trepidation, because the truth needs to be known, no matter the danger. :-)

I saw all the Creature Contact and Storm Strike sets this afternoon (first time I've seen the Storm Strike sets at all in the wild). No Kongs, though. They were also stocked up on Corps 2 and 3 packs, but completely out of any vehicles (including even that old Total Soldier-era jet they always have that's missing canopy, figure, and some accessories). I didn't think to check the endcaps for any clearance items...

This evening my local Walmart was fully stocked with at least two of everything including Kong.

Checked another Walmart today (well, yesterday, technically), and again, they had all the Kong sets except Kong himself. They also had all the Corps figure packs, but again, no vehicles. Since they don't even seem to have the vehicles on the planogram, I'm assuming they're waiting for the Kong stuff to sell through before they put them back out.

I'm still seeing Kong getting restocked at my local Walmart. They've also got a couple of the larger vehicles, but no smaller sets right now. They are still on the planogram, though; Corps vehicles are not back on yet.

These are supposed to hit stores in SA next month. I hope they are still coming!

So I was just informed by one of the retailers here that they are no longer bringing the Kong toyline to South Africa!! So pissed right now! Working hard to find out if any other retailers will. If not then I might actually miss any chance of getting these for my kids.

Or having someone in another region buy them and ship them to you? I imagine shipping costs would get somewhat high, but I don't do much international shipping, so I don't know what kind of damage you'd be looking at.

Yeah the international shipping is what makes me try to avoid hooking up with someone in the States. If I have no choice then yeah thats the only option. But theres another retailer here that has told me they will get them in November. Still...a long time away and the longer I wait the scarcer they will become in the States.

Finally broke and grabbed all 3 of the small sets over the weekend...I was picking some of the sets up for "somebody", and my willpower broke. At only $10 apiece, I'd be crazy not to get them, even if I don't really care much about the branding. The value is terrific, the figure variants are great, and the creatures are versatile. I get the feeling that these will continue to fill in for The Corps until the new product finally launches. I see Walmart is both clearancing out the Corps 3-packs, as well as reintroducing vehicles (including the large ones) to the planogram, but they've got plenty of space that The Corps alone wouldn't fill without the Kong sets...and Kong keeps getting restocked. I'm glad to see them co-exist, really. The variety and crossover appeal is nice.
