The figures of this series look good especially the figure of the Kong and various creatures from the film, but it seems to me that it was necessary to develop new bodies for the characters and not to take from the old figures, most likely it would take more time.

Yo, Smoke! Perhaps the choice to use existing bodies for the Kong figures was a subtle way of tying the Kong line to the Corps! line without having to say anything about it directly.

More likely a cost saving feature...

More likely a cost saving feature... Im more interested if they can pull it off again with other movies. Something like mad max, or the monster verse they are trying to make. That whole scene from the mummy would make selling a cargo plane an option... If they can make even one movie a year using just new heads/monsters and vehicles I think we would be thrilled. Alternativel the could look to tv for their next deal. Think about it. There are a good deal of shows that could work. 'The Last Ship' Military ✔ ships ✔ gasmask and hazmat crew ✔. 'Archer' spys ✔ crazy bad guys ✔ military vehicles regularly ✔. 'The Colony' cool looking bad guy soldiers ✔ drones ✔ Aliens ✔ 'Into the badlands' cool looking costums ✔ ninjas ✔ steampunk ✔ motorcyles ✔ That doesnt even count if they looked at older shows / movies like Strike Back, A Team, Magnum PI, Star Gate, Nakita, Dark Angel, Or what about game deals like Contra, Rainbow 6, Half Life, Metal Gear, Far Cry, Brothers In Arms, Just Cause (wing suit please!) etc
