Hi all I recently acquired some female head sculpts from the Marauder "Gun Runners" site. The heads fit the Puma and Snakebite figures almost perfectly. Since I had a couple of the newer female bodies lying around, I thought I'd throw together a new custom. The extra head I had looked a bit like Black Widow with short red hair. So using Puma as a base I began by sanding down the figure's midriff. Once smooth I used a flesh tone paint on the midriff to make it appear bare. Then used matte black paint on the rest of the figure. I applied a gloss coat to the armor parts to give them a shiny look. To finish it off I printed a custom S.H.I.E.L.D. decal for the chest armor and some "spider" tattoos for the forearms. It was a pretty easy custom to make.. the most time consuming part was sanding down the midsection. All-in-all it turned out pretty well.

I was going to say something, but then I saw how low-slung her pants were on the rear view pic, and I forgot what I was going to say. I guess this is revenge on Lanard for covering up the cleavage? In any event, nicely done!

Beautiful work, man. Love the paint apps. I've looked long and hard at the Marauders' female heads and have thought about buying, but haven't pulled the trigger. Seeing the head on these bucks may change my mind. Great work as always!

Beautiful work, man. Love the paint apps. Thanks so much! I've looked long and hard at the Marauders' female heads and have thought about buying, but haven't pulled the trigger. Seeing the head on these bucks may change my mind. I really enjoy customizing, but it's so hard to come across good female head sculpts. I usually ended up buying a whole figure just for the head. Then I came across the Marauder site a couple weeks ago. The heads are a $1.99 a piece which isn't bad. So I bought 4.. I liked them so much I ended up buying 5 more. As I said previously, they fit the Lanard female bodies perfectly with no modification. And they add some variety to my ranks.

Thanks! These are awesome!!! And these are the compatible with the Puma And Snakebyte's neck pegs? Yup! And also with the majority of Joes' neck pegs, too. Many of their weapons (the larger-handled ones) can be used with the Corps, or even Chap Mei.

It motivates me to get back to my work bench.

I have a couple more ideas for other figures.. but knowing they'll require the same kind of sanding makes me keep putting them off. I watched the video you made of your custom Lara Croft figure, really nice work!! Do you separate the top part of the torso from the bottom before you sand down the midriff?

If you dont you have to worry about messing up the top sculpt while dremmeling. If you look on Youtube for my tank girl figure you will see the alternative is to have to sculpt all the clothes. So dremmeling down the mid drift might not be so bad.... I look forward to your work.
