hey guys I decided to grab the Rex playset. not only is the rex new but the pack in figure is also new and is Trickshot from the new sculpts.

No probs guys. so far those are the only new sculpt figures out over here. there is another Clash set which is the cyber Kong on its own but that only has the Puma figure in it . one thing I didn't mention is that I kinda wish they had included more perimeter fencing. the two you get are cool but seem a little lack luster.

I'm a bit disappointed by the fact that the torso has been sonically welded shut despite the presence of a back screw.

I'm a bit disappointed by the fact that the torso has been sonically welded shut despite the presence of a back screw. I'm hoping it will just take a little pressure to open them up since they are fresh from the factory. I have some Elites and Total Soldiers that were like that. I think the presence of the screw means they can be cracked open like the old figs. We all knew the females didn't have he capabilities because they had no screw. Here's hoping. We will all know for sure in the coming weeks. |

I picked up a extra El Hefe set just to try and boil pop again since the first figure seemed unforgiving. and presto it worked straight off the bat so it might be like you said the factory fresh ones were harder to open Attachments:

...yeah i'm in. Hopefully these show up locally.
That Ravager head sculpt looks really nice on that body. The angular anime influenced sculpt just reeks of toy goodness. In fact...it looks some what like the Small Soldiers toys that movie deserved but didn't receive.

Actually, the old Rick Ranger body is very similar to that figure in arm proportion and style...As I watched the movie, I realized those designers even in 1998 knew what type of articulation was needed to make the figures move normally and look good. |
