If i were a betting man i'd assume it was going to us the El Jefe body. That's who i thought of when i saw the El Jefe figure.

Lanard will be cranking out these new sculpts on different movie lines now. I thought they did a great job on Samuel L Jackson's sculpt for Kong and it went toe to toe with Hasbro's Mace Windu sculpt of him. We are seeing some good things from Lanard.

That's who i thought of when i saw the El Jefe figure. when i first saw the el jefe body, and his muscular arms i noticed how simular the arms were compared to the rock's 'roadblock' from retaliation. my head cannon was that el jefe would be roadblock's younger brother or something.

Im Surprised if this is the final product. I would think that the figures would be the new sculpt unless there are other packs

seeing new images surface on the net for rampage the movie toys, of course i expected lanard to re-release some of their old figures we hadn’t seen in awhile. i’m just disappointed that they hadn’t reveal a Dwayne the rock Johnathon figure. i expected as well as some lanard/thecorps fans by using one of their modern mold for their new corps line up to compare here is el jefe and G.I. JOE Retaliation roadblock if we hadn’t seen a figure for his chracter now, maybe lanard didn’t have the time or the rights to get his likeness which is a shame…. EDITED:

[/quote]I like the weapon spru. And wolf/alligator at this size. But the missiles and new deco are cool too!

Funny how Ralph only seems to include limited-articulation figures. In all seriousness, though, these look promising and fun.

Well, I've attained a few of the new Rampage sets, and my emotions are mixed. The price is right, and there are some surprisingly great bits, but some frustrating bits as well.
I picked up the large Lizzy, medium George (There is a giant George, the same size as Kong, but a completely new sculpt!) and the small George - with the Rock figure! (Also included with the large George in a different paint scheme.)
First - The Rock figure is my first of the "new" figures, and I'm disappointed. both knees are floppy, the head, while a great likeness, seems to perpetually look up, and the hip articulation is kinda worthless. The backpak he comes with does not fit, as the back of the buck's hole is too big. (er...) The George included is non-articulated, but is a really nice sculpt. From what I can tell, the body is new. I'll take pics soon.
Next, the medium George figure. Again, a great sculpt, BUT - Only two articulation areas. The right shoulder, which is spring-loaded to "smash" back into standing edition. And the jaw, which is a nice tough, allowing for a more docile look. Again, a great sculpt, and good paint, but not much of a figure. The included mini-copter is cool - a little one-seater in black, with removable mini-missiles. It comes with an older Corps fig in amore military paint scheme, which is just fine. Nothing special, but still solid.
Finally, the really good - Lizzy is a beautiful, giant monster, with a semi-articulated tail, adjustable legs at the hips, and a well-disguised button that activates the spring-loaded jaw. This guy seems to clearly be the centerpiece of the line, and you can tell a lot of love was put into the thing. Lizzy also comes with an old-school Corps figure. It's a good one, with a solid head sculpt, but nothing to write home about. But to be honest, even without the figure, Lizzy is worth the price of admission.
I saw them all, and will eventually grab the large wolf (I almost did instead of George, but my daughter liked the gorilla...) My only concern on that one is the narrow hip placement. I'm not sure he'll stand correctly, but it sure looks cool.
The prices are right...I don't feel too bad in that regard. But knowin what I know now, I'd skip the smaller gorillas and just grab Lizzy and the large wolf, plus, probably, the giant George. He looks neat-o.
