I have seen a prototype/mock up of the Ape and the rock packaging. I will try to get pictures and put it up next week if I can get the pictures.

Awesome! Need ,ore info on this line! If it is like Kong it could mean some pretty cool sets and maybe a retooled Kong into the ape, lizard and wolf monsters! Doesn't this movie hit this summer?

I have seen it, it is not a repaint. It is a new mold with swivel hips so it can pose like in the previews. The 3 smaller sets are awesome too. They said they should be released sometime in January.

Yes I was shown the 3 smaller sets. The creatures are all new with repainted figures. I think the movie comes out in April so we probably won't see the toys before March

There was a post yesterday on the official Corps Instagram saying the new figures are releasing Spring 2018.
In the toy industry that could mean as early as January. Or not.

Wow...Dwayne The Rock Johnson showing up in both Lanards action figure line AND Hasbro's.
I...might pick that set up for that reason alone.
