If you could choose just one character from this era of figures to return in the Corps Tech Wars with all new sculpting and articulation, who would it be??

Gonna say Ravage...the bomb-blast suit is OK, but it's become more kind of Ogre's look. I think a new sculpt would benefit Ravage greatly. For the rest of the figures, I'd be happy just getting them re-issued at all.

What a wealth of choices here.
As an adult collector i'd choose Decoder or Mirage. The uniforms can be reused for multiple theme types and the blades are fantastic. They have such a cool factor to them similar to what we all may have experienced with Storm Shadow as Snake Eyes when we were children. Also...ARMY BUILDERS. Especially Mirage.
As a child looking at the plastic figures through the clam shell packaging it would be a more difficult choice. The truth of the matter is PLAGUE , in that color scheme, exudes energy. If that version of Plagues red color was played up i.e. his hair was made more red with a slightly more exaggerated facial sculpt to heighten his psychotic look you'd have a winner. He is the perfect field general for a villainous group. Contrast him with RAVAGE who has more red but , IMO, has less presence. It's all in the PLAGUE figures facial sculpt and contrasting red and blue eyes. Plague needs a hand with a trigger finger so he can have the megalomaniac hand gesture.
Mirage has physical presence as well but i'm concerned that LANARD wouldn't get the waist proportions correct . The new figures all have blocky torsos which look fine on characters that are covered in vest (titan) but translate less well with mid size figures (pretty much every other character but Trickshot comes to mind). Still ..if i'm a kid i want that torso sculpt and ninja looking guy.
Honourable mention to Jump. IF they made him in an African american skin tone without the goggles on his head (or made them detachable) i'd definitely want that guy. I like the green version of him.

I voted for Ice. I like his look and having an Arctic specialist is a classic trope of this size of figure.
Honorable mentions are Sparks and Decoder, especially if they got a similar paint scheme to Gills and Diesel.

For me mirage and decoder are newer figures to the rest, the sculpt us better, articulation improved,I think the others in this list are slightly before new recruits. So that being said,I think decoder needs to come back.hes one if my favourite characters.i was really disappointed he was dropped,I think his head should be put on the deco of his body sculpt diesel uses.diesel is a weak character. Also bring back decoders arm blades. Mirage is also good, and his gimmick of string his sword on his bag would fit/could be improved now that new characters are including on body weapons storage. Why is REAPER not on the list??he's my other favourite character.bring him back, same sculpt exactly, but articulate him,and still include his shotgun

Good point. Sword storage is always welcome (specially in this scale).

Thanks for posting the photo. I can identify some of my figures now. What years are these figures from? I'm going to have to give this vote some thought since there are several figures from this group I'd like to see return.

I've purposely left off figures that have current releases. Spade only just didn't make the list as he was released with the new Beast Bomber (Swarm Bomber) As for the term New Recruits, it was more a lack of a better term really. There wasnt really a "wave name" for when guys like Ice, Rip, Rucker etc were introduced.

Ravage and the Mauraders as a third faction. Ghost,Mirage, and Decoder would be great to have back.

I finally decided to vote for Plague since I don't have a figure of him. I also wouldn't mind seeing Ravage, Ice and Vulture return in the new style.

I am voting for Decoder because I think his whole sculpt fits in with the tech wars theme. However if I could choose two it would definitely be Decoder and Mirage. Just really love the arms for Mirage and hope they bring them back and I love his torso that holds the blade and sword. Two great sculpts I'm hoping they bring back.
