I know plenty of people on here have done some Corps customizing. I have done some action figure customs many years ago and would like to try my hand at some Corps customs but it's been a long time and I am not familiar with the inner workings of the Corps figures. Can anyone give some idea as to what it takes to take the different styles of figures apart? Also, I think I've seen some people put the new style of legs on some of the T-crotch style figures. Is this a rather involved thing or fairly simple?
Thanks!

Just a matter of unscrewing the torso and mixing parts. Some of the newer figures can be tough to crack open after the back screw is out apparently...

Some of the new figures I've bought come apart quite easily by removing the screw in the back while others are very stubborn. On the stubborn ones I soak in boiling waters to soften them up. In can take a few times for them to loosen up and I've had to coax the torso apart with a very small flathead screwdriver.

I reccomend soaking in hot water a few times if needed before resorting to using a tool to seperate the torso because it is possible to damage it that way.

I'm having some serious trouble taking apart a TrickShot/Shrapnel. I just want to swap their heads. So I can have an unmasked Darius in the backgrounds and a sneaky Shrapnel to work into my head-cannon.
I've taken the screw out, boiled them more than once, and tried the screw driver between the ribs thing... no dice as of yet. Anybody else try this one? Know a trick or encouragement? Thankx Corps!HQ.

- I kept at it, the Shrapnel figure eventually came apart like butter. Trickshot took some damage, superglue will be used to 'repair' the figure but the emotional scares are deep. As you can imagine.
Ultimately, the Trickshot head looks great on the Shrapnel body. Totally worth it.
