Does anyone else collect this line?
I have collected a lot of different lines over the years..Spider-Man, He-Man, G.I. Joe (80s), Transformers (Movie & Vintage), Dick Tracy, TMNT, Thundercats, WWF, WCW, TNA, ROH, Rescue Bots, LEGO, Angry Birds, Amiibos, etc..but all of those always seemed very accessible compared to the twelve inch Joes.
I (could just be my area) have barely even seen any in person in my life.
But...I found a store maybe an hour away with a display case that absolutely blew my mind, 60s Joes, Adventure Team, big vehicles, absolutely blew me away, and after getting to a good place with all my other lines, finally got my first Joes yesterday, who are now my oldest figures.
I love Lanard and all the other lines I mentioned but I have to admit I’ve never really played with such a large scale, high detail, high posability line before, and I’m loving it.
I already have my next pickup planned but in the meantime I’d love to chat about 12 inch dolls and figures, especially vintage ones, and see any pics anyone has.

I have never gotten much into 12" stuff, just really before my time (being born in 1980). There are few from the 90s of ARAH characters which look cool, but just never pulled the trigger on them.

I don't really collect 12'' figures. I got interested briefly when Hasbro introduced the Hall of Fame figures in the 90s, but I didn't maintain interest for more than a couple years, and I've only picked up a very few other 12'' figures since then (my favorite being a 12'' Joanna Dark). They're nice for what they are, but they're too big and clunky for my liking. Plus you have to keep their clothes clean! I prefer the manageability and vehicle/playset-friendliness of 3.75''/4'' figures. I will admit though that I kind of want one of these, but not so much at that price. IF it ever even leaves pre-order status...

I grew up with 12 inch Joes, particularly the Adventure Team era. I loved them and had lots of fun with them! I still have them.
