This was a little more work than expected. Instead of dremelling out Rain's head, I was able to mod it and place it on the body. I was also able to pop in Rain's original arms as well after minor dremelling. I cut the hands (wish I would have cut after the edge of the glove instead of the whole glove) and placed new hands that swivel. I modded the lower body and legs on and painted the belt. Head: Rain Body: Chap Mei Pirate Arms: Rain Hands: PTE Soldier Lower body/upper legs: PTE Soldier Lower legs: DC Multiverse Deadshot Belt: Chap Mei Pirate

Now THAT looks like a toy! I like it! It reminds me of The Pirates of Dark Water or some other fantasy character from the 80's to early 90's. I'm not bashing GI JOE which I still hold affection for but seeing the classic plastic rivets in Rains shoulders and knowing it has all of the pose ability that o ring Corps! And joe fans expect makes this a treat. It looks like something to play with.
I have some PTE figures that sitting around for this exact reason (quality articulation fodder).

Thanks for the kind words. With my kids, I have to make everything playable and this figure ended up being a fun toy and not just a poseable statue. I actually have several PTE soldiers so I could use their articulation to update characters or create better poseability for t-crotch figures. It does take some work to modify them. However, I'm really excited about the updated characters. It will make mods much easier for male figures IMO.
