One of the things I really like about The CORPS figures is that they're great for customizing. They're easy to find and cost a little under $2 per figure. I'm primarily a Star Wars figure collector, but have 3 3/4" figures from other lines in my collection as well. I came across The CORPS line on a trip to Walmart, and thought they'd be great for customs so I picked up a few. Using the Snakebite and Puma figures I created these Star Wars customs. Those are beautiful pieces of work. Did you sand down the torsos? You are definitely showing the potential of the Corps line for customizing. Great use!

But yes, I did sand down the torsos on the two figures with bare midriffs. While most of The CORPS male figures are easy to disassemble because they have a screw in the back. The female figures don't have the screw so they're a little tougher to take apart. I had to break the top half of the torso away from the bottom half so the midriff would be easier to sand down. Once I sanded it smooth, I applied the appropriate color paint. I wasn't sure how it'd turn out.. but being the figures are about $1.98 at my Walmart, I wasn't afraid to take the same chance I would with a figure costing $8 or over.

Nice! I can't help but think the Scout Trooper is going to file an HR complaint about the coverage of her armor, though.

Oh, and out of curiosity, where does the Rebel Heavy Gunner's weapon come from? I'm not placing it.

Oh, and out of curiosity, where does the Rebel Heavy Gunner's weapon come from? I'm not placing it. It's from the Star Wars line of figures. I took it off an ARF trooper.
