I'm not the best painter, but I always do my eyes with a needle or toothpick (I prefer a needle). It's a little tedious, but the results are much better than the thinnest of brushes IMO. Still, you didn't do bad. |

Have you ever sculpted your own hair for figures? I would like to see some of those paint jobs.  I sculpted the hair on these too. |

Not to distract from the topic, but that is a BIG freakin' Wacom! I'm still using a 4x5 inch Graphire I bought back in, like, 2005. It's mostly for hobbies, though, so it does the job. I'd probably get lost on a tablet that big!
On topic, I see you're tackling an articulated Reaper too...

Not to distract from the topic, but that is a BIG freakin' Wacom! I'm still using a 4x5 inch Graphire I bought back in, like, 2005. It's mostly for hobbies, though, so it does the job. I'd probably get lost on a tablet that big! On topic, I see you're tackling an articulated Reaper too... Would love some closer look at some of those once finished. |

LOL yeah its an old Intuous 3 I think. Ive had it since 2006. Loads of deadspots in it now though which is super annoying while Im working. And yeah, Im trying an articulated Reaper... but Im not attempting to use his original body or limbs. Theres no reason you have to use his orginal body. The only reason I did was because I love the sculpt on his vest. On the orange version it really pops. But on the black version with the skull the cool paint job kind of hides the sculpt. I also have issues with the head on mine staying on. If I had used another body I could have attached it to another neck peg/ball. Like I did with my CurseGuard trooper. |
