I brought this line up over a month ago, but it was Kyle Cassity who found these in the "wild" today at Walmart! (here's the first 3).

Was in a Walmart tonight and surprised to find the Jumanji animal and figure sets were only $7.00! I discovered it at the self checkout. They were NOT marked on the shelf.I was only going to buy Bravestone and the Elephant but for that price I went back and got the Hippo and Rhino sets also.
Some of the Jurassic World toys are only $5 as well. Again, they weren't marked.

Was in my local Walmart tonight and all the Jumanji toys were back to regular price. The big set with jeep is the one that I saw on sale. I believe it was a holiday only item.

The toys are only starting to hit Smyths over here now. The movie is still in the cinema and is over $500m at the box office. They say a sequel seems certain. There may be legs in this toy range yet.

Hopefully any toyline for a sequel will include action figures of the four main characters. Talent costs, as much as we'd all love to have the main characters, certain actors have stipulations on their likenesses and how merchandising is carried out, while in other cases the studio itself is in charge of merchandising rights.

I agree if we do get another wave, we need the main characters. Talent does cost, but if you can get the Rock, why not the others next.

Actors and actresses certainly deserve to be compensated for the use of their likeness in merchandising. In general, it's strange that there is so little merchandise of any sort for the Jumanji sequel. Is there anything beyond the Lanard toys? I haven't seen anything. I also have to wonder if all the costs associated with making figures of Ruby Roundhouse, Finbar and Oberon was a consideration for Lanard. To make entirely accurate figures of those three would have cost Lanard a fair amount of money beyond likeness rights. Lanard's practice of reusing parts to make figures is a sound business move but that wouldn't have worked to make accurate figures of the others. Making a Bravestone figure was fairly easy for them. At least Lanard didn't emulate larger toy companies and make Bravestone in multiple colors and pack him with everything in the line.

Did the Rock gave his likeness or it was the movie studio? I seen that the Rock always get figures on everything (Movies got merchandise) like the Scorpion King movie in the past plus his WWE deal.
I assume is the Rock giving up his likeness...
