Anyone seen these in Tennessee or Georgia yet? I'm in TN. Just saw some of the merchandise for the first time. Peg space has been there for days but not stocked. Only thing stocked was one each of the Storm Strike sets. Hope to see he Creature Contact and Kong set soon. |

On the subject of names...obviously Sam Jackson and Tom Hiddleston's figures will be named after whatever their characters in the movie are called, but the rest are most likely up in the air. So...do we want to come up with "official" names for these guys?

On the Skull Island toy website kongskullislandtoys.com/ Samuel L's character is listed as LIEUTENANT COLONEL PACKARD and Tom Hiddleston is CAPTAIN JAMES CONRAD. The others are called Monarch Soldiers and the boat guy is a Patrol Sgt. I'm wondering if we'll get more SKUs in this line with maybe a female figure or if this is it. |

You have to figure between the movie figures and the new figures coming out thier production must be maxed out this year If the sell well and kong does well at the box the studio might make deals of future movies or sequels. Unless the new mystery figures that are left. are female and were sculpted to work if a head from the lead actress were added. And they want to hold it back till they anouce their new toys fully.. |

Finally found some of the creature contact sets in a Walmart a little farther out from my house than I'd like. I passed on Hiddleston set to get Sam Jackson. Looks great in sculpt.

Here is the actual sculpt. One thing that I don't know how if feel about is the shading on his lips. It almost looks as though he has black lipstick on. Other than that, he looks good. I'd like to see how he's look with the newer body sculpts though.  |

They finally turned up at my local Walmart and as others have noted only two of each item. I passed on the helicopter and the set with the flying creature but bought one of everything else. I opened them and like them a lot. They seem like great value for the money and lots of potential as toys. The shelf label for the big Kong figure was $29 something but rang up $24.86. My only complaint is that they are not that easy to remove from the packaging.

OK, that answers one of my questions. Hiddleston figure has "scars" or something. I thought mine had a paint error, but it's either on purpose or a running error.

My local Walmart has yet to restock this line. All they have are a couple of the boats and helicopters. Has anyone else noticed this?
